Hey,
I suppose that all of us are waiting for Spring to come, at least I am looking forward to find her trace. Personally, I got tired of cold and rainy weather, I need sun! However, nearly all the year in the country where I leave we need to face harsh climate conditions. It makes me think of moving out to some warm an sunny place. I am conscious of numerous advantages of leaving here, but some moments I just am being moody, that's why I would make my luggage in 5 minus to go away and make my wish come true.
During those crisis occasions I would go to an island which was a peaceful, green, luminous place, where I could go out without wearing jackets, hats, scarfs etc. I would charge me up with energy in a wink of an eye.
So, typical marks of Spring are: the warm illusion which comes from the sky, flowers which start to bloom, chippering birds...please hurry up!
A small handkerchief.

The Shape of Water
Directed by Guillermo del Toro and predictably similar to his other movie Pan's Labyrinth (in it's general character) has a charm which captivated me for the 2 hours of it's duration.
Even if it's plagiarism because of the other movie, surprisingly similar, the Splash, I consider The Shape of Water worth watching and having a moment of reflection.
In the movie we can see a woman with her unique character, her daily routine, her perfection in everything she does. But she doesn't speak. All of her thought are kept on her inside, shared with the world only by gestures.
One day she meets a creature who everyone sees as dangerous, ugly, disgusting. This strange beast is comparable with Elisa (the woman mentioned before) in the question of muteness.
They understand each other better than anybody else. They need each other, because one makes the other one happy, the presence is enough. This is a story of simple but difficult and strong feeling between two creatures showed in their fairy world.

Paris
My latest weekend escape is Paris. I always dreamt about visiting this place, full of artists and inspiration (there is over 2 millions of habitants), but also because one of my friends who I met during my au pair experience just after high school in Madrid. We were leaving in the same district of the city, so we hang out together. She move to Paris as she got a job offer in the capital, this made me thinking about this famous tourists' destination more and more. Ones I found some good price tickets to Paris from Warsaw I bought it, that day was high time I planned the travel.
The problem is that we (my friend and I) didn't expect our flight to cost twice more than only the tickets. We went from the airport which was the furthest from Warsaw, and the situation repeated in Paris so it wasn't that cheap finally. I definitely recommend to check the cost of the transport between the aiport and the city while you decide to fly with the cheap air lines.
Our stay in Paris was short, and intense. The first afternoon we went to a restaurant with my french friend and her friends, we ate snails! You must try it if you visit France ;) After that we had a long walk in Montmartre which was accomplished with a party in some bar on our way home. The second day we saw all "must see" places but we didn't enter to the museums because of the long queues. We went up to the Eiffel tower and to the Arc de Triomphe. Before we left Paris, day after that, we had a coffe at Cafe des 2 Moulins, where the movie "Amelie" was shot! It is exactly the same as in the movie, the only difference are the waiters instead of the waitresses.
You should know that in Paris you can visit most of the touristic highlights for free before you become 25! Hurry up :)

Bergen
In this post I would like to share with you another great experience I had this year (and it's only the beginning).
My friend and I found a really cheap flight to Bergen, Norway. It was from Gdańsk so I enjoyed visiting my Erasmus friend who lives there (the list time we met was in 2016 on the erasmus scholarship, it was ages ago). The next day in the morning we took off to our trip destination.
As we all know, Norway is one of the most expensive counries in the world. It costs an arm and a leg to stay there. We were lucky because we gor an offer from couchsurfing from a local who wanted to help us. He picked us up from the airport, prepared a breakfast for us (not once), shared food (even if we had our own food), and showed us other places around Bergen (we did around 400 km with his car). This is amazing and surprising to meet someone so cheerful to support you, who does it without knowing you and who is so self-forgetful. We were amazed.
Must see in Bergen: Floyen peak and Edward Grieg's house!!! Beside these, you can just walk in the mountains (there are also other peaks, not really demanding). In summer there is an event, worth your attention, called 7 mountains walk (which I would like to do another year) and it makes you climb all of the 7 peaks you find there in one day.

Budapest
How did I celebrate the New Years Eve?
Hi folks!
It has been a while since I've been here the last time. I was so busy in this frenetic pace of life that not only once I "burnt the midnigcht oil". Anyway, this year 2018 started in a quite extraordanry way (for me).
My friends and I went to Budapest to celebrate this special ocasion. All of us met at first in Wrocław (we are not from the same city) from where we set off to Hungary. The journey took forever, we spent over 10 hours in a really cramped bus. I guess that we didn't complain only because it was a real bargain.
Just after we got to our destination, we found out that it was way colder then we supposed it to be. I didn't mentioned it before, but I forgot to take my thick gloves from home and I needed to buy new ones in Wrocław, but those ones were not thick enough. Now you can imagine how did I suffer the first temperature schock. Well, we all suffered. In order to get rid of this unpleasant bitter feeling (haha and not only for that reason) we joined the free city tour which was gorgeous! We walked a lot, which warmed us up. The guide was a young tourism student and she relayed us the knowledge about the Budapest history in a funny and interesting way, I definitely recommend this kind of sightseeing with a good guide!!! You only have to book the tour (sign up) online.
Later on, we joined the city game (it was called enter the year).
One of the best moments I will never forget is when we went to Buda Castle in the night with my local friend, We saw the city from it's upper part in the dark (the city lights form a brilliant view) and it was just stunning! The next day we visited some Szimpla bars to try the typicall food....
As you see, the 2018 New Years Eve in our memories will not only be a party :)

To summarize the 2017 in United Kingdom...
In 2017 United Kingdom suffered 5 terrorist attacks. This year, in the Queen's Christmas speach this was a really important topic, the terrorist outrages. The Queen mentioned the courage and the bravery of the victims who survived. She met and talked to the young audience of the concert on Manchester where 22 people got killed by the attack, so this message was based on evidence. Other issues to which the Queen reffered are the family, faith, good will and peace.
The first radio queen's speach was given in 1952 and it lasted 3 minutes. It's an important english tradition, which nowadays involves BBC, Sky New and ITN broadcasters.
Here you can watch the speach from this Christmas:

New Year's resolutions
I am sure that you are trying to figure it out how to be happier, reacher, more organized or what you are up to on 2018! Have you made a list of your New Year's resolutions? I haven't done it yet, but there are some ideas in my mind of what should it represent. I read one article about "How to be happier in 2018" which might interest you, so I decided to tell you about some ideas in a nutshell.
At first you should eliminate your tendency of negative thinking, if you get able to learn from hurtful situations, you will be ready to face them or even avoid them in the future.
Acknowledge why are you in a bed mood cycle. When you think consciously about it, you can face it easier then when you press on forgetting.
Give yourself advices as if you were trying to help your friend.
Think about the positive things which happened to you, about your success.
Write down (maybe in a form of a diary) what is your struggle. Then rewrite it from the point of view of a neutral observer. You will see a big difference.
Move! Active people are more happy and healthy.
Remember that the happiness as pesimism are infectious, so go for spending time with positive people mostly.
Share with us your New Year's resolutions list if you would like to inspire more people who might read it.
Good luck! :)
